Make the Most of Google Drive

Take your use of Google Drive to the next level! This session will give you tips for managing the workflow and making Google Drive work extremely well for you and your students. Topics addressed will include avoiding organization pitfalls, sharing folders and files, file naming protocols, leveraging comments and collaboration, efficient use of the search window, and grading while maintaining student privacy. Participants will learn how using scripts such as ClassFolders can make managing student digital work a breeze. We’ll also explore how some of the great add-ons like Kaizena make Google Drive an even more powerful learning platform.

This presentation was shared at the Fontbonne Fall Institute 2014 and the Morenet Google Summit 2014. The addition of Google Classroom has addressed many of the organizational challenges of using Drive. However, teachers who do not use Classrooom may find these tips to still be relevant.
